C2C Spring Forum 2011
Universal Design for Learning
Park University - Parkville, MO * April 1, 2011 * 9:00-3:15
Increasingly, institutions are mandated to design and deliver instruction to accommodate learners with disabilities and learning impediments. This intervention can include developing videos using Closed Captioning; designing Word and PowerPoint presentations to accommodate students with visual impairments; and employing third party American Sign Language (ASL) services that run through Skype. The C2C Spring Forum will focus entirely on designing and delivering instruction using Universal Design for Learning (UDL) standards and guidelines. See: http://www.udlcenter.org/aboutudl/udlguidelines for more information.
