Abstract: 
Using the Pecha Kucha approach (20 slides shown for 20 seconds each) this rapid fire session includes several presenters sharing information on mobile devices as educational tools and their specific applications in education and training. Presentations will focus on the use of mobile assistive technology and speech generating devices in education (Karch); faculty viewpoints on the gaps and promises of mobile devices (Miller); mobile catalogs, QR code implementations in libraries, mobile vendor services (such as LibGuides, certain journals, etc.), and device apps vs. mobile web apps (Bailey); specific mobile applications that faculty use to engage students (Zhou). The session will conclude with a Q&A period. Miller moderates.
