Dr. Robert Allen Moody Abstract:
Online instructors spend more time designing, planning, facilitating, and mentoring than their counterparts in traditional face-to-face classrooms. In order to deliver a quality online course, instructors need interpersonal communication and facilitation skills that differ from traditional delivery. The amount of feedback and interaction between instructor and student is a determining factor as to whether the student remains in the online course.
